Zune.

El gigante de la computación Microsoft lanza la segunda generación de su reproductor multimedia, el Zune, con lo que pretende no quedar atrás en la carrera con su competidor directo, el iPod de Apple. Entre los nuevos modelos de Zune se encuentran dos dispositivos de 4 y 8 gigabytes, así como uno más grande de 80 gigas que también tiene la función de disco duro.

Una de las nuevas características del dispositivo de Microsoft es que puede reproducir video, además de tener conexión WiFi, funciones como sintonizador de radio FM y tranferencia de archivos.

El director de Microsoft, Bill Gates, y el vice presidente corporativo, J. Allard, muestras los nuevos modelos del Zune, a sólo unas semanas de que Apple lanzara la tercera generación de su iPod.

19:41 Los mexicanos Diego Luna, Julieta Venegas, el grupo RBD, junto con las argentinas Luisana Lopilato y Dalma Maradona -hija de Armando Maradona- conducirán la sexta entrega de los premios MTV Latinoamérica, informaron hoy fuentes oficiales.

Portavoces de MTV en México recordaron que esta ceremonia se efectuará en próximo 18 de octubre en el Palacio de los Deportes de la capital mexicana.


Recordaron que esta será la tercera ocasión en que el actor de cintas como "Y tu mamá también" (2001) , y "Terminal" (2004) , se convierta en anfitrión, pues ya tiene una historia con MTV Latinoamérica tras conducir las premiaciones en 2002 y 2003.


MTV anunció también la ceremonia contará con la actuación en vivo de la banda estadounidense 30 Seconds to Mars, los Babasónicos de Argentina, los mexicanos Jesse & Joy, además del grupo Kudai de Chile .


Además participarán en esta entrega, la segunda que se realiza en México manera consecutiva, el colombiano Juanes, la mexicana Belinda, el grupo británico The Cure, la cantante canadiense Avril Lavigne, la estadounidense Hilary Duff y los mexicanos de Café Tacuba.


Esta sexta entrega de Premios MTV Latinoamérica cuenta con 21 categorías: Grupo o Dúo, Artista Pop, Artista Rock, Artista Urbano, Artista Alternativo, Solista, Artista Norte, Artista Nuevo Norte, Artista Central, Artista Nuevo Central, Artista Sur, Artista Nuevo Sur, Artista Pop Internacional, Nuevo Internacional, Revelación, Video y Artista del año.
