Y esque aunque hoy por la mañana que salí de casa el ambiente estaba bastante agradable, solo bastó que trancurriera el tiempo para que que el sol hiciera de las suyas. No tan solo aquí en el puerto de Veracruz se siente el calor sino en todo México y vaya, aunque estamos en costa, no acabamos de acostumbrarnos.

Ahora a Tlaloc quisiérmaos pedirle a momentos nos refrescara un poquitín con algo de lluvia, por lo menos una pequeña brisa pero parece que el también está sintiendo las inclemencias. Ojalá para cuando sea su turno no se exceda como desde hace ya algunos años lo esta acostumbrando hacer mandándonos abundante agua que crea inundaciones y conflictos en nuestras ciudades y poblados.

La llama ahora ante su paso en San Francisco.

Pero... ¿ porque estas manifestaciones ?

La represión china en el Tibet ha despertado movilizaciones internacionales, amenazas de boicot durante la ceremonia inaugural de la justa deportiva y una creciente presión para que Beijing entable un diálogo con Dalai Lama.

Las manifestaciones a favor de la independencia del Tibet y las muestras internacionales de solidaridad llegan en el peor momento para Beijing. En Francia, los activistas hasta se lanzaron de paracaidas.

Los reclamos tienen que ver con la falta de libertades, las limitaciones a las expresiones de la cultura en libertad nacional y la absoluta negativa china a contemplar cualquier relajamiento de su política de indivisibilidad nacional.

El Dalai Lama ha sido cuidadoso de no reclamar ni la independencia plena del Tibet, ni su rompimiento con China. Las autoridades de Beijing no pierden oportunidad de descalificarlo.

El gobierno chino ha enviado contingentes militares para controlar zonas en las que habitan tibetanos. Las manifestaciones en las que inicialmente participaron monjes budistas comenzaron de manera pacífica pero se tornaron violentas a partir del 14 de marzo. Activistas aseguran que la cifra de victimas alcanza 140 muertos.

Las protestas irrumpieron la ceremonia de encendido de la Llama en Grecia cuando tres miembros de Reporteros sin Fronteras, perturbaron el discurso del responsable chino del comité Organizador de los Juegos, Liu Qi. La ONG, considera a China como la mayor cárcel del mundo para periodistas e internautas.

El congreso estadounidense, el emisario especial del Dalai Lama, Lodi Gyari, exhortó a china a suprimir el paso de la antorcha olímpica por el Tibet, que se prevee para mayo o junio. Gyari consideró que el trayecto era “intencionalmente provocador e insultante”.
