En busca de occidentalizar un poco a los árabes, insertarlos en gustos del oeste, devolver algunos inmigrantes a sus países de origen y cultivar la cultura local, dándole el poder de influencia que tienen los artistas en la gente, MTV a penetrado en arabia, nicho de mercado gigantesco y atractivo: casi 66% de los árabes son menores de 30 años, algunos países tienen rentas petroleras astronómicas como Kuwait o Qatar -donde se ubica el canal de noticias Al Jazeera- y con 50 canales de música en su idioma.

¿Cómo se desarrollará en un futuro el canal? Yo creo que de la misma forma en que se he desenvuelto en el resto del mundo. La globalización y el capitalismo sigue permeando.

Leía hace unos días en el periódico Reforma sobre la apertura de la tienda Saks Fifth Avenue quien de la mano de Carlos Slim abrirá sus puertas en Ciudad México (específicamente en el maravilloso Centro Comercial Santa Fe) con marcas exclusivas y muy deseadas en la Capital.

"Un paraíso que pondrá al alcance de los mexicanos marcas como Alessandro dell'Acqua, Oscar de la Renta, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, , Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Catherine Melandriguez, y los zapatos de Manolo Blahnik, entre muchas novedades más"

Hoy volvió a caer ante mis ojos otra nota en la que se habla sobre la próxima apertura programada según para el 28 de noviembre del presente y, buscando notas, encontré que todo indica que se espera la apertura con áncias.. y no es para menos! ya que incluso "... se inaugurará unrestaurante Fauchon´s, sucursal del de París, para que los visitantes se encuentren en un ambiente de primer mundo".

Todo indica que la tienda en mercancía, calidad, mobiliario & diseño, imagen, escaparates...será una verdadera chingonería.
